The Pastor is responsible for leading the church body in functioning as a New Testament Church (use scripture reference here).
The Pastor is responsible for providing spiritual instruction and strategic leadership to the members, staff and ministries of the church. The Pastor serves as the administrative officer and supervisor of church staff and the Administrative Business Council.
Originally from New Jersey, John has served various leadership roles in both church and para-church contexts in New Jersey, New York, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and now Texas.
In his current role, John desires to help the church with its ministry leaders and structures to function well as healthy individuals and as a healthy team so that together we can fulfill our vision of living to make Jesus visible.
John graduated from Rutgers University and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry degree from Gordon-Conwell in Pastoral Skills and Leadership. In his spare time he enjoys reading, gardening, working out, and serving as a Chaplain with the San Antonio Fire Department. He is an avid college football fan. He would jump at the chance to go with you to watch the New York Football Giants play. He is married to Ruthie and has two daughters Bekah, who is married to Craig, and Anna – both of whom are math teachers in the greater Boston area.
